چکیده

This paper presents the comparison between optimized unscented Kalman filter (UKF) and extended (EKF) for sensorless direct field orientation control induction motor (DFOCIM) drive. The high performance of UKF EKF depends on accurate selection state noise covariance matrices. For this goal, multi objective function genetic algorithm is used to find optimal values main objectives be minimized are mean square errors (MSE) actual estimation speed, current, flux. Simulation results show matrices can improve torque, flux in DFOCIM Furthermore, present higher than under different operating conditions.

A New Fuzzy Logic Based Adaptation Mechanism for MRAS Sensorless Vector Control Induction Motor Drives

This paper proposes a novel adaptation mechanism to replace the classical PI controller used in model reference adaptive speed estimation schemes which are based on rotor flux. The proposed adaptation mechanism is based on a fuzzy logic strategy. A detailed experimental comparison between the new and conventional schemes is carried out in both open and closed loop sensorless modes of operation ...

Sensorless Speed and Position Control of Induction Motor Drives

Controlled induction motor drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost and high reliability. To replace the sensor, the information on the rotor speed is extracted from measured stator voltages and currents at the motor terminals. Vector controlled drives require estimating the magnitude and spatial orientation of the fundamental magnetic flux wav...

MRAS based Speed Control of sensorless Induction Motor Drives

Senseless induction motor drives are widely used in industry for their reliability and flexibility, particularly in hostile environment. However, the performance of many of previously developed observer based speed sensors in very low speeds of IM drives was not satisfactory. In this paper we present two types of MRAS based speed estimators, one based on the rotor flux and the other based on th...

Speed Sensorless Vector Control of Induction Motor Using Extended Kalman Filter

A vector control of an induction motor by an estimated speed using an extended Kalman filter is proposed. With this method, the states are composed of stator current and rotor flux. The rotor speed is regarded as a parameter, and the composite states consist of the original states and the rotor speed. The extended Kalman filter is employed to identify the speed of an induction motor and rotor f...
